Description:Human Neural Progenitor Cells (hNPCs) are progenitor cells of the central nerve system (CNS) which can proliferate and differentiate into many glial and neuronal cell types with distinct functions. Neural progenitor cells can be found in the developing embryos, neonatal and adult brain cells. Neural progenitor cells have limited proliferative ability where they do not generate non-neural cells and cannot self-renew.
